Katherine Jackson B.Sc., M.Eng., C.Eng., M.I.E.T.
An experienced chartered electrical engineer who has worked in the energy industry for over 30 years, combining leadership roles with the provision of technical support and specialist consultancy services.
Leadership roles have included technical leadership for up to 350 staff, business, operational, commercial and technical leadership for up to 30 staff with an annual net revenue target of up to £3million of consultancy fees, and project leadership for projects worth up to £2million of consultancy fees.
She has personally provided technical consultancy services covering power generation, design and analysis of power systems, and future energy systems and technologies. Her most recent consultancy work has focused on energy innovation, including supporting energy entrepreneurs, future network design, operation and technologies, energy storage, and developing thought leadership in the future of energy, hydrogen and CCUS. She has delivered work to clients in the Philippines, Ethiopia, Kenya, India, Hong Kong, Ireland and the UK.
Throughout her career she has presented at conferences and contributed to a wide range of energy industry thought leadership groups, as well as industrial advisory boards for energy related research.
